Fat Burning Programs- The Facts Prove They Don’t Work. So Now What?
To succeed at permanent weight loss, you need to know why there is no one perfect fat burning program for sale.The people that make a fortune selling diet and weight loss products hope you never understand this, but the facts PROVE their products don’t work. Here’s why:
You can only lose weight one way- you need to use more calories than you take in. Simply stated- you have to use up more calories than you eat.
Sadly, so few people understand how simple weight loss can really be that they become easy prey for professional marketers. Expensive weight loss plans [Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, Nutrisystems, etc.] all claim to have the ideal fat burning program. These expensive programs for weight loss actually do have the potential to work- IF you follow them and use them to help you create that all critical daily calorie deficit. But the facts show that people who purchase weight loss programs- even healthy ones- end up weighing more in about two years.
So why can’t a commercial “fat burning program” help you permanently keep weight off? Simple: It’s quite simple actually, it’s because it makes it impossible for you to know how to keep weight off on your own. Meaning, when you take away the tool that you bought- that’s helping you create the calorie deficit- you take away the calorie deficit. Leaning how to permanently lose weight is like leaning how to swim. If you never take off your life jacket, you’ll never totally know how to swim by yourself. So if you’re buying something- even if it’s the worlds most perfect fat loss program, you’re never learning how to keep weight off with your daily actions.
However, just like learning how to swim, when you learn how to create your own “fat burning program” it’s gets very easy- and you know how forever. The reason keeping weight off is simple because it’s only possible with the calorie deficit. What makes losing weight feel hard is when you never take the time to create a calorie deficit using foods that you like- vs eating a special diet that someone else wants to sell you.
So don’t think an effective fat burning program is something you need to buy from the diet industry, because the facts prove the opposite. Keep it simple. Just eat natural foods that you like, and get active in ways that like. The scale will tell you if you’re eating right and getting active enough. When you just do that, losing and maintaining your weight happen with what feels like no special effort whatsoever.
And that’s just the beginning! When you discover how to make your own “fat burning program” you learn an incredible new life changing skill set. How so? Because when you have control over your diet- you have control over some ever strong emotions. And when you control these emotions, the mental willpower is there to control almost anything else in life that’s tempting you.
